Instructions: how to use the UV pack effectively?

1. Prepare your equipment

Make sure you have the following items: UV COLOR dye, LUX 28 UV lamp, a container of water, an injection tool (pipette, syringe or watering can, depending on use) and UV protective goggles.

2. Dilute the UV COLOR dye

Pour between 1 and 3% of dye into the water depending on the size of the area to be inspected and the viewing distance. For example, for 1 L of water, add between 10 and 30 ml of dye. Mix thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous solution.

3. Apply the solution to the area to be tested

Depending on the application (network, roof, basin, etc.), pour or inject the solution directly into the circuit or onto the target surface. Ensure that the solution circulates or remains in the areas where leaks are suspected.

4. Leave to act for a few minutes

Allow the solution to spread throughout the inspected area for 5 to 15 minutes. This allows the dye to penetrate microcracks or leak points.

5. Inspect under UV light

Switch on the LUX 28 UV lamp in darkness or low light. Point the beam at the treated area. Leaks will immediately appear as a fluorescent halo (green, red, purple, blue or yellow depending on the color chosen).
